West Coast Office Building

Oregon based lumber company with a completely new office to be built on their current site. Dramatic lighting highlights the douglas fir timbers supplied by the client and fabricated by New Energy Works. With an Architecture team on the West Coast and Interior Design on the East Coast, this project has highlighted the collaboration possible across the country.

The exterior siding is shown to feature charred Shou Sugi Ban style larch in contrasting colors. This allows the natural fir timbers to stand out and be the showpiece.

For interior design, we want to focus on keeping natural tones mixed with rich metal accents of iron and copper. The community spaces are prominent to allow for gathering space and impromptu meetings, while the private offices allow ample room to spread out current project documents or hold small meetings.
