Interior Design Development

Working with out-of-state clients and a local builder and architect, I modeled the project in Revit from the 2D architectural drawings. I developed a full set of interior elevations showing custom millwork throughout the main house and guest house on the property.

Exterior Entrance of Main House

With a heavy focus on environmental sustainability and carbon footprint, we changed the siding from the original metal siding profiles, to a stained Larch shiplap in two varying size profiles. This rot-resistant Western Larch is sustainably harvested and shipped from the PMW West Coast mill with planned timber frame shipments.

North Elevation

This orthographic render was part of a study to finalize the five different siding and stone materials designated for this residence while staying true to the architect's design intent.

Main Living Space

With all walls and ceiling being clad in Douglas Fir, we wanted to highlight the fireplace area with a board-formed concrete texture and a column of stone veneer to bring the chimney material inside.

Main Stairwell

Utilizing narrow and wide raked white oak wall paneling made in-house, the cadence of the upper level windows and timber rafters above are mimicked in these vertical stripes.

Primary Bathroom

Based on client needs, we flipped the orientation of the shower and freestanding tub to maximize the windows on the South side of the house.
