Clients building a new house needed a kitchen designed and built. As an extension of our fine woodworking division, I worked with the client on kitchen layout to finalize the flow from the hall and living room. Updated drawings were provided to the builder during construction to modify the original wall layout. We opened the space from the kitchen to living room with a beam recessed in the ceiling.
A light, natural lakeside aesthetic was achieved with custom stain applied to the light birch cabinets and the live edge walnut accents support a more casual elegance in the space. A full wet bar in the butler's pantry off the kitchen provides the clients a functional space for entertaining that can be closed off with a custom pocket door
Live Edge walnut with waterfall edges create a raised backstop of the island. Quartz with a soapstone feel top the birch cabinets toned with a custom grey wash. A butler's pantry through the doorway features wine storage and a wet bar for entertaining.
